Kanzashi are hair ornaments that are used in traditional Japanese hairstyles. This gorgeous Kanzashi Dragonfly is the perfect example and you can use it in many other ways too. You could make up a number of them and adhere them onto a pretty painted canvas for example. They would make beautiful brooches or cushion embellishments or even a baby mobile.

You can decorate cards and create all sorts of crafty projects and don’t forget about adding them to a hat. We have included a video tutorial to show you how. We were unable to find any that were in English but you can follow along visually. It is a simple craft and we have included lots of examples to inspire you.
